The Role

This is a true 0→1 marketing role. You'll own brand and content end-to-end. You set the direction, and you do the work. You'll concept, write, ship and track performance of LinkedIn posts, blog articles, website copy, launch campaigns, videos, social posts, and sales collateral that tell our story - and our customer’s. As our first dedicated marketer, you'll work directly with the founders to define our voice, content franchises, and put it in front of the manufacturers we serve.

This is a seat for a maker, not just a strategist. You'll learn the manufacturing world deeply enough to write about it credibly, move fast, and use every AI tool available to punch far above your weight.

What You'll Do

• Define and evolve the Forgepoint voice and category narrative across AI, software, and American manufacturing.

• Concept, capture and publish exceptional content tailored to channels across: LinkedIn, X, blogs, the website, video, email, launches, and other emerging channels.

• Turn customer conversations, shop-floor visits, product releases, and measurable outcomes into credible stories, case studies, and campaigns.

• Own the editorial calendar and distribution engine; repurpose strong ideas across formats and measure what earns attention and drives pipeline.

• Build the collateral that helps sales win, including decks, one-pagers, customer stories, launch assets, and clear product messaging.

• Work directly with the founders, sales, and product; use AI, design, and video tools to move from idea to polished output quickly.

Who you are

• You're a strong writer who can maintain a distinct, credible voice across formats and is allergic to AI slop

• You ship high-quality content fast and independently, from idea to published and you keep it organized along the way: clear timelines, tracking, asset management and performance data anyone can pick up

• You have a sense for brand and design, and care about how look & feel impacts customer perception.

• You're comfortable owning the whole funnel: content, brand, and the systems around them

• You care about our mission, and you want to see the American manufacturing base get stronger

• You're excited to work in person 5 days a week in our NYC office

• You have a founder and growth mindset, and you use AI tooling obsessively to move faster and do more

Bonus points

• B2B or startup marketing experience

• You've grown a brand, audience, or newsletter from scratch

• Basic design chops (Figma, Canva, or similar)

• Familiarity with industrial, technical, or otherwise "unsexy" audiences

About Forgepoint

Revitalize an industry. Rebuild America's manufacturing backbone.

America builds satellites, jet engines, semiconductors, and more with world-class precision, but the software running factory offices is decades behind. Estimators, procurement teams, and engineers still lose hours to spreadsheets, PDFs, and manual data entry.

Forgepoint builds AI workers for non-production departments — think inside sales, quoting, and procurement. By removing back-office bottlenecks, we help US manufacturers move faster, grow, and compete globally.

We're backed by a16z speedrun and angels from Brex, Xwing, and Betterment. Join us in rebuilding the digital foundation of American manufacturing.

Our Founders

Jack Strauss — Co-Founder & CEO

Alex Pareto — Co-Founder & CTO

Alex began at Meta, then founded YC-backed Demeanor which was acquired by NTWRK. He later became a founding engineer on Brex Spend Management, and ultimately the Head of Engineering for that organization. He holds a BS in Computer Science from USC.
