That is where our new Recruiter comes in and will help us scale-up.

For us to continue to have an efficient recruitment process, we are looking for another colleague who can help us in this mission. This is not just about filling in the roles – we want our people to stay with us for the long run.

As a Recruiter at SMART Photonics, you will play a key role in building one of Europe's leading integrated photonics foundries. You will influence hiring, sourcing initiatives, and talent attraction projects during an exciting scale-up phase.

In your first year, you will be the driving force behind attracting and securing the talent that enables our Production and Operations teams to grow without compromising quality, speed or candidate experience. Strengthen SMART’s talent pipelines within the Dutch high-tech ecosystem, and contribute to creating efficient hiring processes. You will report to the Talent Acquisition Lead, and the team will provide guidance.

Your tasks:

•  End-to-end recruitment for our operational cleanroom teams, including operators, technicians, shift engineers and shift leads. These teams work in 5 and 2-shift schedules.

• Deliver a fast and engaging candidate experience from first contact to offer.

• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and build effective recruitment strategies.

• Proactively source and headhunt talent within the Dutch high-tech and semiconductor ecosystem, using different techniques, including your own network.

• Build talent pipelines and support SMART's direct hiring approach (we recruit ourselves!).

• Coordinate interview processes and drive hiring decisions.

• Contribute to recruitment process improvements, talent attraction initiatives and employer branding activities.

• Represent SMART Photonics at local events and strengthen our presence within the high-tech community.

• Connect with the ecosystem and build an Integrated Photonics pipeline!

Requirements:

• MBO or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field;

• 2 to 3 years of experience in operational recruitment, preferably within the Brainport region, and a focus on Cleanroom and Operations profiles;

• Proven experience managing recruitment pipelines and hiring for roles in Operations and Production, in the semiconductor industry;

• Ownership and solution driven - you are not only active, but you own it!

• With a good network of the semiconductor ecosystem in the Brainport region;

• Knowing of working with ATS Recruitee Tellent is a plus;

• Fluency in English and Dutch, spoken and written.
