Position Overview

We're looking for a passionate and talented Digital / Media Planning Manager to help drive the growth of our FMCG vertical as we scale globally. You'll lead media campaign planning across a portfolio of fast-growing ZURU brands spanning multiple consumer categories, on platforms including TikTok, Meta, YouTube and digital display. It's your chance to shape how these bold, high-energy brands show up in market. This is a relocation opportunity for anyone from the UK to move to New Zealand.

About ZURU

ZURU is a reimagination company. We look for categories that have stood still, then we build next-generation products and brands that set the new standard. ZURU Toys is reimagining play. ZURU Edge is reinventing everyday consumer brands. Rhodes Pet Science is reimagining pet science. ZURU Tech is leading the next building revolution.

ZURU started in 2003 with two brothers from New Zealand, and we're still founder-owned and operated today. Since then we've become the world's second-biggest privately held toy company, and nearly half of all Gen Y and Gen Z households with kids in the US own a ZURU product. Today we're 5,000 people in 34 offices, selling into more than 150 markets, backed by over 100 acres of fully automated manufacturing. And we're only getting started.

Position Impact

Innovation and excellence sit at the heart of ZURU's marketing, and they've made us one of the leading advertisers globally across digital and social platforms. In this role you'll help develop audience frameworks and planning processes that drive results, balancing performance delivery with brand building to grow our challenger brands through the funnel. You'll work closely with the Media Buying team, the Data & Analytics team and brand teams across each vertical, making sure campaigns are well planned, clearly measured and aligned to business objectives. It's a brilliant opportunity to build your skills and career in a fast-paced, future-thinking global company.

How you'll help us grow

• Support the delivery of media strategy and planning across your assigned ZURU brands, making sure plans are insight-led and audience-first

• Contribute to developing and implementing media measurement frameworks, working closely with the Media Buying and Data & Analytics teams

• Help embed the Future Demand philosophy into campaign planning, building a deep understanding of brand-building media principles

• Stay close to platform trends and audience behaviour, proactively bringing forward new opportunities and ideas for channel adoption

• Build productive relationships with tech and media partners to maximise value and innovation for ZURU brands

• Support the development of reporting cadences and contribute to performance reviews, translating data into actionable insights

• Collaborate with cross-functional brand and marketing teams so all media activity aligns with brand and vertical objectives

• Contribute to a collaborative, curious and high-performing team culture, sharing learnings and supporting colleagues

What Helps You Win Here

• 4+ years in digital marketing, media planning or paid media, ideally agency-side or in-house, on consumer brands (FMCG, CPG or similar preferred)

• Hands-on experience across Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager and Google ad products, plus exposure to social, programmatic display and video (CTV or retail media is a plus)

• Familiarity with media measurement approaches, including performance reporting, brand lift and incremental testing

• An analytical, curious mindset: you interpret data and turn it into clear recommendations, and communicate them confidently across teams

• Organised and proactive: you manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, flag issues early and are eager to learn and grow

Who thrives at ZURU

This isn't a 9-to-5. We move fast, think big and set goals most companies would call impossible, then go after them. The people who thrive here are entrepreneurs at heart. They own their work, chase bold ideas and never stop raising the bar.

At ZURU, you drive your career, and we give you the platform to take it as far as you can. There are opportunities here that you won’t find anywhere else, and you'll be surrounded by talented people who make things happen. We're a true meritocracy: we reward impact, not tenure.

How we work

Big ideas happen when great people work side by side, so we're office-first by design. Being together means faster collaboration, sharper decisions and stronger teams, and it's where the real learning happens. Some flexibility may be available depending on the role, location and business needs, but most roles are office-based.
