Senior Manager, Corporate Finance

About the role
Perforce Software is building a finance production team in India to run recurring finance work: commissions, expense reporting, and central finance reporting. The Center Leader is the first hire and the on-site owner of that team.
You will hire and lead four analysts, set up how the team works, and take on processes from the US team in a controlled, well-documented way. You will be the main link between the India team and finance leaders in the US.
This is the start of a broader shift of finance work to India. The team will continue to grow, and you will help shape its size, scope and structure as it does.
What you will do:
- Hire, onboard and lead an initial team of four analysts (two Sales Compensation, one Expense, one Central Finance Reporting), then build the team out as more work moves to India.
- Own the transfer of recurring work from US teams to India: plan each handoff, run shadowing and parallel runs, and sign off when a process is ready to move.
- Set up team operating practices: process runbooks, close and reporting calendars, quality checks, review steps and service expectations.
- Own quality and timeliness of the team's output. Review work, resolve issues and report on accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Partner with the Director of Corporate Finance, the Director of Commissions and Strategic Finance leaders to prioritize work and resolve escalations.
- Work with HR, IT and Legal on onboarding, system access, data security and employment logistics for the team.
- Coach and develop analysts, set goals, and build a career path for the team.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities with the platform automation team.
What you bring:
- 10+ years of finance or finance operations experience, including 4+ years leading a team.
- Experience setting up or running a shared services, finance operations or global capability center team.
- Strong grounding in accounting and financial reporting; US GAAP familiarity.
- Experience with ERP, planning and reporting tools (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning or similar) and advanced Excel.
- Track record of documenting processes and transferring work between teams or locations.
- Excellent written and spoken English, and comfort working with US-based leaders.
- Degree in finance, accounting or a related field; CA, CMA, CPA or MBA preferred. Nice to have
- Experience in software or SaaS finance.
- Experience with commissions, sales compensation or revenue-related reporting.
- Experience with Adaptive Planning, Power BI, Salesforce or CaptivateIQ.
All employees are expected to demonstrate AI fluency appropriate to their role and level, including responsible use of AI tools, sound judgment, and adherence to company AI governance and security policy standards.
