Job Description
DAFpay is the first integrated DAF payment option. It's already live on dozens of fundraising platforms that nonprofits use to raise money online. Being live is only the start, though. On many of these platforms DAFpay is opt-in, so most of the nonprofits who could be using it aren't yet.
Your job over the next 12 months will be to own Chariot's fundraising platform partnerships end-to-end. That means growing DAFpay volume with our existing partners, signing new ones, and using those partners to get new Chariot products out to more nonprofits as our offering grows.
This is a GM-style role. You'll be the main point of contact for heads of product, partnerships and marketing at platforms that move billions of dollars. You'll work across sales, customer success, marketing and product to get as much volume as possible out of every relationship.
What you'll do:
Grow DAFpay volume across our fundraising platform partners, especially by getting more nonprofits activated on platforms where DAFpay isn't on by default
Land strategic wins with existing partners, like new launches, better placement and new checkout experiences
Sign new fundraising platforms to DAFpay
Run partner go-lives: own the timeline, keep product and marketing aligned, and handle the hard conversations so launches happen on time
Make sure product updates reach partners quickly and clearly, and make Chariot the partner every platform wants to work with
Lead webinars and co-marketing with partners
Channel partner insights to the product team to inform roadmap and feature development
👤 About You
4+ Years of Experience: In partnerships, channel, or sales. If you were a management consultant or banker in a past life, that's a great fit too. You don't need quota-carrying experience. We care more that you've grown in your current role and can run complex work with a lot of stakeholders. Startup or fintech experience is a plus.
Relationship Builder: You build trust quickly, even inside large, slow-moving organizations, and you know how to find the person who can actually make the decision.
Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive with any audience. You can pitch a platform's CEO on revenue and walk their lead engineer through the integration on the same day, and you're comfortable presenting on a webinar.
Project Management: You keep timelines, owners and stakeholders organized across multiple companies, and you spot risks before things slip.
Hustle: You're scrappy, adaptable and fast. When the normal route is blocked, you find another one.
Generalist: You want to do a bit of everything: sales, customer success, product, implementations.
Curious & Strategic: You ask smart questions, spot opportunities others miss, and want to understand the full picture (product, roadmap, and infrastructure).
Bonus: Good commercial instincts in partner negotiations, and comfort digging into the numbers to figure out where volume is coming from.
📚 What you’ll get from Chariot
At Chariot, we are building modern, end-to-end payment infrastructure making donors' lives easier, and nonprofits' lives better. $600B gets donated to charity each year in the US and the existing technology/infrastructure was still built for our grandparents generation. Traction. Annualizing over $1.8B in payment volume through Chariot. Tens of thousands of nonprofits already onboarded including American Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and University of Pennsylvania.
Impact: That money services nonprofits working in homelessness, health, education, the environment, and so much more.
Market opportunity: Billion dollar revenue opportunity. Fintech company operating in an untapped $600B market
The Team. >30% of Charioteers are former founders. NYC office, in-person Monday through Thursday, WFH Friday. The public handbook shows how we operate.
