• Upload and organize borrower documentation in loan origination systems (LOS).

• Follow up with third parties (e.g., title companies, appraisers, insurance agents) to request required documentation.

• Track and update loan pipeline statuses daily, ensuring that deadlines are met.

• Communicate professionally with clients, borrowers, and vendors via email and phone.

• Perform preliminary reviews of loan documents to flag missing or inconsistent information.

• Use internal systems and AI-powered tools to manage tasks and escalate issues when needed.

• Support document preparation for initial disclosures and assist with compliance checklist tracking.

• Maintain organized digital files and internal notes for each loan.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a mortgage, real estate, or administrative support role (preferred but not required).

• Basic understanding of the mortgage loan lifecycle or willingness to learn quickly.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Tech-savvy: comfortable using Google Workspace, Slack, task management tools, and willing to learn industry-specific software (e.g., Arive, LendingPad).

• Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment for virtual meetings and phone calls.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a virtual assistant, operations, or client service role in the mortgage or financial services industry.

• Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS), CRMs, or document management systems.

What We Offer

• Fully remote work with flexible hours (must be available during PST/MST business hours).

• A chance to work at the intersection of finance and technology.

• Learn from experienced mortgage professionals and gain hands-on industry knowledge.

• Access to advanced tools and automations that streamline day-to-day tasks.
