People assume the supply chain is an automated, algorithmic system. In reality, hundred of thousands of operators acting as the glue between organisations and systems, doing work the world depends on, with tools that have barely changed in decades and spending hours a day on email. Nexcade is building the agentic operating system for those people, transforming the way people communicate and optimise the $1T spend on logistics every year.
Our agents are live in production with leading global Freight Forwarders, pricing millions in freight every week, and we are rapidly expanding the platform to touch every part of the logistics lifecycle.
Our founders, Dan and Tasho, spent years at Sedna and Palantir working with supply chain companies on problems like this one. We have raised $8.5M to make this a reality from top VCs and angels who backed or founded Synthesia, n8n and other world-class companies.
How we workEverybody builds, founders included. The whole company is technical and runs on coding agents. You will not be asked to write production software, but you will use agents for discovery synthesis, specs, prototypes and data analysis rather than doing them by hand.
Closely with customers and design partners, so what we ship changes how they operate.
At pace. Fast cycles and quick iterations, on the product and on how we work.
End to end. If you see something broken or missing, you have the freedom (and the responsibility) to fix it.
In person, in London. We value synchronous communication.
Debate rigorously, decide quickly, execute relentlessly.
Enjoy the journey. Hard problems, good colleagues.
We’re building the AI platform freight forwarders rely on. We started with quoting and are expanding across the shipment lifecycle. As Product Lead, you will be central to that expansion, helping decide where we focus and turning those decisions into products customers depend on.
What you’ll do:
Own product outcomes: Own the roadmap, priorities and performance of specific products, from defining the customer problem through launch, rollout and adoption. Partner with the founders on overall product direction and strategy.
Build from customer insight: Work closely with freight forwarders across commercial and operational roles. Understand how they work, identify the problems customers share and build products for those needs rather than one-off solutions.
Prototype and build: Turn ideas into working prototypes and early product versions, using AI tools and code to test them with customers. Work hands-on with engineering to take promising ideas into production, not just write specs and hand them over.
Drive product expansion: Build a clear view of the market, including where we win, where we do not compete and why customers choose us. Use that understanding to identify the next workflows Nexcade should enter and turn them into products that grow revenue.
Raise the standard of product thinking: Define success measures, test assumptions and examine accuracy, edge cases and second-order effects before scaling. Write clear specs and decision documents, including a written recommendation on the hard calls.
Build the product operating system: Establish a clear planning and decision-making cadence without adding bureaucracy. Make sure product meetings are well prepared, teams have the context they need and decisions translate into shipped work.
Make product and platform trade-offs: Work closely with engineering to decide when to invest in shared capabilities and when a faster, product-specific approach is right.
What we look for
Strong product judgement: You have owned meaningful product work in a complex B2B product and can show how your decisions changed customer behaviour or business results. You define success clearly and test assumptions, accuracy and edge cases before scaling.
Product taste: You can turn complex workflows into products that feel simple, coherent and trustworthy. You care about the details that make people choose to use them.
Technical fluency: You work effectively with strong engineers, understand trade-offs across architecture, AI, data and integrations and bring the customer and product perspective to choices about speed, quality and reuse.
Excellent judgement: You get beyond what customers ask for to understand how their work really happens and distinguish repeatable needs from bespoke requests. You use customer and market insight to make product choices that drive adoption, expansion and revenue.
High agency and directness: You take ownership, hold a high bar and disagree openly and constructively. You are comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration and changing priorities.
Obsess over the problem: You are drawn to complex, messy problems in industries the economy depends on and want to understand how the people and systems behind them really work. Industry experience is a bonus, but not required.
Why join
The biggest product choices are still ahead: how deep we go, where we expand and how everything fits together. Our product is already live with leading freight forwarders and this role will shape what comes next. You will build AI for the work that keeps global trade moving, alongside a team from Palantir, Raft, Faculty, UnlikelyAI and Oxford. You will get meaningful equity in the company you help build.
