About the Role   Alcatraz is looking for a detail-oriented, flexible, and proactive Order-to-Cash Accountant to join our Sofia office. You will own the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) process—from customer order creation in HubSpot and NetSuite to sales order processing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.   This is a new role, offering the opportunity to build and optimize accounting processes and automation initiatives. You’ll play a key role in our transition from external to internal accounting for our U.S. legal entity, and will work closely with Sales, Operations, and the Finance team in the U.S. and Bulgaria.   We are looking for someone who is not only a strong accountant but also a problem-solver and process builder—someone who actively seeks ways to improve and automate.   Key Responsibilities

• Review and process incoming customers Purchase Orders 
• Verify dealer agreements, discounts, and quotations
• Promote deals to “Closed Won” in HubSpot with accurate setup
• Create Sales Orders and Subscriptions in NetSuite
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready customer master data
• Issue invoices and manage follow-ups on outstanding payments
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition per subscription
• Track and update reseller certificates
• Maintain clear tracking of revenue and COGS recognition
• Calculate monthly Sales Incentives and coordinate timely payouts
• Prepare and issue financial and performance reports
• Create and continuously improve processes, with a focus on automation
• Work closely and communicate regularly with U.S.-based teams

Requirements

• Associate’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Experience with HubSpot and NetSuite is a strong advantage
• Excellent command of English and Bulgarian (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) and Microsoft Excel
• Flexible working hours to ensure effective communication with U.S. colleagues
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset for automation and process improvement
• Passionate about using tools and technology to drive efficiency
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
