About Hanover Park

We're building the AI-native ERP that will define private markets infrastructure. This isn't an AI wrapper slapped onto legacy software - we built a proprietary general ledger accounting system from the ground up, designed specifically for complex investment firms. As the system of record, we've earned the trust to bundle fund administration with tools that were previously fragmented: investor portals, AI-powered portfolio management, KPI collection, and more.

With AI, context is king. And Hanover Park has all the context on our customers.

In under a year, we've scaled to over $40 billion in assets under administration, serving investment firms and LPs that include top-5 banks and major endowments. We're backed by Emergence Capital (first investor in Salesforce and Zoom), Susa Ventures (first investor in Robinhood and Flexport), and Lux Capital.

Stripe for payments. Ramp for expenses. Hanover Park for investments.

About the role

You'll be a fund accountant who operates with the leverage of a team ten times your size - because AI is handling the grunt work. At Hanover Park, you won't spend your career buried in spreadsheets doing work that a model can do better and faster. You'll work on engagement teams, serve as the primary point of contact for sophisticated clients, and help shape how fund accounting gets done for the next decade.

Client capacity at Hanover Park is directly gated by this team. This hire matters.

What you'll work on

• Be a member of the engagement team for 5-10 clients and serve as the primary point of contact for those clients

• Manage core fund accounting workflows: Maintaining books and records, capital calls and distributions, allocations and waterfalls, and capital account statements

• Deliver financial reporting that meet client SLAs

• Communicate directly with fund CFOs, COOs, and GPs — responsiveness and clarity are non-negotiable

• Integrate into AI-assisted workflows and actively use automation to reduce time on manual tasks

• Surface process improvement opportunities to the engineering team

• Interface regularly with Chris and leadership, especially in early-stage client relationships

What we're looking for

Must-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Fund accounting experience in alternative investments

• Fluency in core concepts: Fund structures, LPA terms, accounting and industry standards

• Technical skills including, but not limited to AI/Claude

• Strong client-facing communication skills - you're talking directly to CFOs and COOs

Nice-to-haves

• Venture capital, private equity, private credit expertise

• CPA or CPA candidate

• Big 4 public accounting background

• Genuine curiosity about AI and how it can transform fund administration workflows

This is not the role for you if:

• You're purely execution-oriented with no interest in how AI can improve your work

• You see services as lower-status than software — we disagree, and so should you

• Responsiveness and clear communication aren't strengths

Why join now

You'll have direct exposure to some of the most innovative investment firms in the country, and you'll help define how modern fund accounting actually works. The AI infrastructure we've built means your capacity isn't limited by manual process — it's limited by judgment, and that's exactly where we want you spending your time.

We're building from scratch — there's no legacy playbook. The pace is fast and client expectations are high. If that's the environment where you do your best work, we should talk.
