Your mission & challenges

In our MiPA Robotics team, we are developing the next generation of cognitive mobile robots designed to operate safely and intelligently in human environments. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take ownership of complex mechanical systems and drive product development from concept to production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Development, design, and optimization of mechanical systems for the MiPA robotics platform

• Design of structural assemblies, robot body components, mounting systems, mechanisms, and integrated electromechanical subsystems

• Creation of CAD models, technical drawings, engineering documentation, and bills of materials

• Performing strength, stiffness, tolerance, and durability analyses

• Driving Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) throughout the development process

• Supporting prototype build, integration, validation, and testing activities

• Close collaboration with electronics, controls, software, systems engineering, and manufacturing teams

• Selection of suitable materials, manufacturing technologies, and production processes

• Ownership of engineering data quality, documentation standards, and revision management

• Contributing to technical decision-making, design reviews, and product architecture discussions
