Position Summary

As Property Finder grows in Egypt, understanding local consumer behaviour, customer needs and market dynamics is critical to building the right products and driving business growth.

You will lead research across property seekers, real estate agents and developers, translating insights into product improvements, roadmap priorities and business decisions.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced researcher who can independently deliver research projects, work effectively with Product and Design, and communicate insights clearly in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research, from defining questions and selecting research methods to delivering actionable insights and recommendations.

• Partner with Product and Design to identify user needs, prioritise opportunities and shape the Egypt product roadmap.

• Conduct discovery research, concept testing, usability testing and post-launch evaluation. Investigate consumer behaviour, local market dynamics and competitive opportunities to inform product and business strategy.

• Apply qualitative and quantitative methods, combining research findings with analytics and customer feedback to validate hypotheses.

• Communicate findings through clear evidence-based recommendations that influence decisions across teams.

• Maintain consistent research standards, document findings and ensure insights are accessible and used across the business.

Desired Qualifications

• 6+ years of user research experience in technology, digital marketplaces or other product-led businesses.

• Experience in the Egyptian market, with a strong understanding of local consumer behaviour and the real estate sector.

• Proven experience independently running end-to-end research projects and managing multiple priorities.

• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, including interviews, usability testing, concept testing and survey design.

• Proven experience influencing product decisions and business outcomes through actionable research insights.

• Experience conducting research with Arabic and English speaking participants.

• A proactive, hands-on approach, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and work independently.

• Familiarity with research and analytics tools such as Qualtrics, Maze, Microsoft Clarity, Metabase and Dovetail.
  

Other Capabilities

• Experience in real estate, property marketplaces or two-sided digital marketplaces.

• Experience researching both B2C and B2B audiences.

• Experience with advanced quantitative methods, such as MaxDiff or conjoint analysis.
