The challenge

At Rappi, we are looking for a Senior Buyer who can transform business needs into competitive sourcing strategies and measurable financial results. You will take on the challenge of leading strategic negotiations, optimizing costs, generating savings, and ensuring efficient solutions for key categories such as logistics, infrastructure, packaging, and services. In addition, you will drive innovation through artificial intelligence and automation to transform the way we do Procurement.

Your challenges

• Lead end-to-end Procurement processes, from defining the purchasing strategy to negotiation, contracting, and follow-up.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX sourcing and negotiation processes, seeking savings, total cost optimization, and better commercial terms.
• Coordinate with business units, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to turn business needs into competitive, scalable solutions.
• Evaluate suppliers and proposals through cost analysis, benchmarks, TCO, and service levels, ensuring operational continuity.
• Manage negotiations and contracts for key categories such as infrastructure, distribution centers, logistics, packaging, and outsourced services.
• Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, efficiency, and value creation for the business.
• Drive improvements in Procurement processes through artificial intelligence, automation, and digital tools.
• Track savings, commercial terms, contracts, and the results of Procurement initiatives.

You will be a great fit

• Experience: 4+ years in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or similar roles.
• Education: Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• English: Intermediate, with the ability to manage negotiations and communicate with international stakeholders.
• Negotiation experience: Track record of negotiating with suppliers, managing RFQ/RFP processes, and generating measurable savings.
• Financial and commercial analysis: Experience in cost analysis, TCO, budgeting, and comparative proposal evaluation.
• Contract management: Knowledge of contracts, commercial terms, SLAs, and supplier management.
• Dynamic environments: Experience in fast-growing companies, technology, e-commerce, retail, or high-demand operational sectors (preferred).
• Innovation and technology: Experience applying artificial intelligence, automation, and digital tools to optimize Procurement processes.
