OUR PROJECTS

You’ll be selling a track record you can be proud of. Here are a few from our portfolio:

• Nasdaq Private Market (Series C, Finance) - nasdaqprivatemarket.com

• Blackpoint Cyber (Series B, Cybersecurity) - blackpointcyber.com

• OpenLoop (Series A, Healthcare) - openloophealth.com

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who wants to own their pipeline, not just work through a call list. You’ll open the door to OAK’S LAB for CTOs, CPOs, and other technology leaders across the US, and you’ll have freedom in how you do it.

You’ll run your own outbound across phone, email, and LinkedIn, test your own angles, and double down on what works. You’ll also build an online personal brand across LinkedIn and other channels that makes US tech leaders want to talk to you.

You won’t start cold. In your first month, key people across OAK’S LAB will take you through our services, clients, and case studies, so you can hold your own with any CTO.

You’ll work directly with Theo, our Co-Founder, and with Josh, our Director of Partnerships, who takes the first call with every prospect you bring in. In return, you get commission, a chance to network at US conferences, and a clear growth path to an Account Executive role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make cold calls to CTOs, CPOs, and other technology leaders at US companies

• Own your pipeline end to end, from first touch to booked meeting

• Design and run your own sequences across phone, email, and LinkedIn

• Build targeted prospect lists in FinTech, HealthTech, Cybersecurity, EdTech, and SaaS

• Hand qualified prospects to our Director of Partnerships with full context

• Grow your personal brand by posting and engaging on LinkedIn

• Represent OAK’S LAB at US conferences, and turn conversations into meetings

• Experiment with openers, messaging, and channels, and share what wins with the team

• Keep our CRM up to date so your wins are visible and repeatable

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• 1–3 years as an SDR or BDR, with a track record of hitting or beating your numbers

• Real cold-calling experience: picking up the phone to talk to new people every day energizes you

• Competitive and self-driven: you target goals higher than the ones you’re given

• Independent: you take ownership and figure things out without waiting for instructions

• Sociable: you love meeting new people, whether on the phone, online, or in a conference hall

• Experience selling services to technical buyers

• A fast learner who can talk credibly with a CTO about software development and AI

• Motivated to build a public presence on LinkedIn

• Native-level English, spoken and written

Nice to have:

• An active personal brand on LinkedIn

• Experience building prospect lists in Clay, Hubspot or similar tools

THE HIRING PROCESS

1. Video questions: a few short recorded answers, so we can get to know you.

2. Call with recruiter: we talk about your experience and answer your questions about the role.

3. Meeting with Theo (Co-Founder) & Josh (Director of Partnerships)
