Position Overview

We’re growing ZURU Creative and looking for a Social & Content Manager to be the glue that holds it all together: part hustler, part thinker, part high-fiver, and a brand lover who thinks in TikTok and Instagram. You’ll sit where strategy meets execution, turning briefs into campaigns, chaos into calendars and junior energy into polished work across global platforms and multiple brands. If you love seeing work through end to end and getting it out into the world, this is your seat.

About ZURU

ZURU is a reimagination company. We look for categories that have stood still, then we build next-generation products and brands that set the new standard. ZURU Toys is reimagining play. ZURU Edge is reinventing everyday consumer brands. Rhodes Pet Science is reimagining pet science. ZURU Tech is leading the next building revolution.

ZURU started in 2003 with two brothers from New Zealand, and we’re still founder-owned and operated today. Since then we’ve become the world’s second-biggest privately held toy company, and nearly half of all Gen Y and Gen Z households with kids in the US own a ZURU product. Today we’re 5,000 people in 34 offices, selling into more than 150 markets, backed by over 100 acres of fully automated manufacturing. And we’re only getting started.

Position Impact

ZURU Creative is on a mission to build the best internal creative agency in the world, filling feeds with thumb-stopping, FOMO-inducing, culture-defining ideas for our brands. You’ll have the resources of a global toy company with none of the client red tape: healthy budgets, real markets and work that reaches millions of fans across dozens of countries. You’ll own the work from idea to live, alongside Creative, Brand, Digital and local market teams who are obsessive about culture, craft and ambition. You won’t just run the content. You’ll shape the team that makes it.

How you’ll help us grow

• Lead content calendars across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Meta, owning the plan from brief to post

• Ideate organic and paid campaign concepts that grow brand identity and drive real business results

• Brief video, animation and design production with the clarity and rigour that gets great work made on time

• Oversee localisation so global campaigns land with cultural relevance in every market

• Own the creator and influencer pipeline, from brief to output, making sure content performs on every channel

• Be the bridge between Creative, Brand, Digital and local markets: everyone aligned, everyone moving fast

• Drive optimisation through performance data, competitive research and platform trend analysis

• Mentor junior team members: sharpen their thinking, elevate their craft and coach their growth

What Helps You Win Here

• Proven experience leading social and content strategy across global consumer brands

• Deep platform fluency: you don’t just use TikTok and Instagram, you think in them

• Creative concepting chops: you can take a brief from zero to a fully formed campaign idea

• Production briefing skills: you know what makes a brief great, and you write them that way

• A bias for action and a mentoring instinct: you’d rather ship something great than perfect something slow, and you love helping others get better

Think you’ve got what it takes? Apply now and tell us your story.

Who thrives at ZURU

This isn’t a 9-to-5. We move fast, think big and set goals most companies would call impossible, then go after them. The people who thrive here are entrepreneurs at heart. They own their work, chase bold ideas and never stop raising the bar.

At ZURU, you drive your career, and we give you the platform to take it as far as you can. There are opportunities here that you won’t find anywhere else, and you’ll be surrounded by talented people who make things happen. We’re a true meritocracy: we reward impact, not tenure.

How we work

Big ideas happen when great people work side by side, so we’re office-first by design. Being together means faster collaboration, sharper decisions and stronger teams, and it’s where the real learning happens. Some flexibility may be available depending on the role, location and business needs, but most roles are office-based.
