• Time for You (and Your Loved Ones): 30 days of annual leave based on our collective agreement (35-hour week); work-life balance through flexible working hours (flextime), mobile working, part-time options, job sharing, and sabbatical opportunities.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Operations (On-Premise & Cloud): Act as the primary technical SME and lead deep-level administration, HANA DB optimization, trace analysis, and central infrastructure orchestration (Cloud Connectors, Web Dispatchers, STMS/ChaRM, SSO) across hybrid environments.

• Advanced S/4HANA Operations & Migrations: Lead S/4HANA conversion activities—including advanced SUM/DMO transitions—and manage S/4HANA Cloud testing landscapes, system refreshes, and target provisioning.

• Lifecycle Management, Monitoring & Automation: Drive system enhancements and release cycles, manage high-availability/disaster recovery setups, implement observability frameworks (SAP Cloud ALM / BTP), and design Infrastructure-as-Code workflows to automate standard BASIS routines.

• Security, Compliance & Audit Readiness: Enforce system hardening, patch orchestration, and SSL/TLS certificate management. Monitor security/gateway logs, remediate vulnerabilities, and lead technical preparations for internal and external SAP audits in alignment with cybersecurity standards.

• Project Management & Service Leadership: Ideate, steer, and deliver complex technical projects to optimize ERP performance and transformations. Drive continuous improvement in partner service delivery and manage connectivity pipelines (REST/SOAP/RFC APIs, SAP Event Mesh) across cross-functional teams.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics OR a vocational degree as an IT Specialist with proven advanced training.

• Experience & Mindset: Multi-year track record in SAP BASIS and platform infrastructure administration for complex hybrid landscapes, paired with a project-leading mindset.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP HANA DB (Linux/Windows), SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and SAP Cloud ALM.

• Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills in complex, matrixed organizations.
