About the Role
Join an electrical and software engineering team building tools to make circuit board design faster and more reliable. You will own customer hardware projects and help shape the internal automation used to improve the design process.
What You'll Do
Own multiple client projects from requirements gathering through manufacturing.
Design circuit boards for applications including motor controllers, compute carriers, RF and antenna systems, battery management, and high-speed interfaces.
Work directly with customers to understand constraints and deliver practical hardware solutions.
Build internal tools and automation to improve hardware design workflows.
Collaborate with layout specialists, firmware engineers, and manufacturing partners.
What We're Looking For
1 to 5 years of electrical engineering experience, including designing PCBs and shipping hardware to production.
Experience with PCB design and simulation tools such as KiCad, Altium, Cadence, or LTspice.
Broad experience across areas such as high-speed digital, power electronics, antennas, and BGA fanout.
Experience owning customer projects from requirements through manufacturing and working directly with customers.
Experience improving hardware design processes through internal tools or automation.
Strong collaboration skills across hardware, firmware, layout, and manufacturing teams.
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $160,000 to $200,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, California. Candidates must live in the area or relocate before starting.
