• Analyze how the kernel and other components are supporting Functional Safe best practices
• Create and maintain kernel packages
• Contribute new development work
• Collaborate in the automotive partner ecosystem
• Collaborate with the Engineering, Quality Engineering, Product Management, Documentation, and product build teams, as well as the open source community

What you will bring:

• You must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship and must be able to join us part-time from February 2027 till January 2028
• Working knowledge of written and spoken English
• Familiarity in Linux device driver development, board bring-up, kernel boot optimization
• Knowledge of Git and upstream Linux kernel patch posting procedures,  experience with upstream development

Nice to have:

• Experience with Fedora, CentOS or RHEL
• Experience with debugging Linux kernel issues
• Experience with grub, UBOOT, UEFI

Due to the limited number of internship opportunities and the high volume of applications, we may not be able to speak with every candidate. To maximize your chances of moving forward in the process, please ensure your CV clearly outlines your education, relevant projects (link to your git.hub account), and extracurricular activities.

Please apply for a maximum of three internship roles that best match your interests and skills.
