Your role

Interested in working in finance and have an affinity for business management and strategy, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Internship within our Group Real Estate and Supply Chain business in Switzerland.

You’ll get to:

• contribute to business and management activities, supporting the preparation of management information and analysis, and the delivery of central business management services and processes
• support strategic development initiatives, including the adoption of digital and AI-enabled solutions, helping to improve efficiency, transparency and employee experience
• gain insight into risk, quality and control activities by supporting governance, risk reporting, compliance and audit-related processes that help ensure a well-managed and resilient business environment
• help create clear, audience-focused communications, presentations, townhalls and engagement activities, supporting effective information sharing and collaboration

Your team

You’ll be working in Switzerland Real Estate & Services (SRES) in our Zurich offices. Our area provides a wide variety of services to deliver a seamless work experience and optimal commercial opportunities for our firm. We support UBS by driving UBS’s real estate strategy and related services globally (e.g. facility management).

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than 12 months ago (bachelor's or master's degree)
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency

Start date: 1 February 2027

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We welcome all majors, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. We want to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team. Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or stepped out of your comfort zone to learn about a subject you found challenging? Let us know how your achievements match the skills we’re after.

Your program

This paid internship will last 6 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
