Are you a top-performing sales professional with Cloud, AI & Data experience with an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to engage senior leadership? If so, Deloitte Consulting LLP is looking for a Sales Executive to lead business development for our Snowflake alliance, identifying and driving strategic opportunities at new and existing clients.

The Team

Our Growth Platforms organization supports Deloitte's businesses in uncovering, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities with our key technology alliances. You will work across all of our market offerings alongside Deloitte Partners, Principals, Managing Directors and Senior Managers to prioritize accounts and sales pursuits. Sales Executives focus their efforts on building relationships with qualified targets and decision-makers, developing effective sales strategies, managing the pursuit process, and serving as the sales lead throughout the sales cycle.

What you'll do:

The Sales Executive works closely with our Snowflake alliance to identify opportunities and sell strategic, impactful client solutions. The role involves:

• Leading business development for the Snowflake alliance across new and existing clients within your industry
• Operating a disciplined sales pipeline — lead management, qualification, and proven sales methods — through every stage of the pursuit
• Partnering with Principals, Partners, Managing Directors, and other Sales Executives across Consulting, Tax, Audit, Advisory, Industry, and Account teams to uncover Snowflake opportunities spanning strategy, implementation, and ongoing support across the value chain
• Acting as the client-facing lead on sales pursuits, from opportunity identification and qualification through close
• Collaborating with the Deloitte Lead Sales Executive, Snowflake Alliance Partner, and Snowflake Account Executives to execute the alliance's strategic sales and marketing priorities, sustain a healthy pipeline, and report progress to leadership
• Matching client business processes, technology platforms, and ecosystems to the right Snowflake solution fit through disciplined market segmentation
• Bringing fluency in common Life Sciences business challenges and priorities across Commercial, R&D, and Supply Chain/Manufacturing functions to frame compelling, use-case-driven AI & Data narratives for Life Sciences clients
• Maintaining strategic relationships across the Snowflake alliance and Deloitte account teams to maximize joint business development
• Managing a pipeline of 15+ active opportunities at any given time
• Serving as the central point of contact for coordinating Snowflake opportunities across multiple market offerings during the sales process
• Identifying and evaluating sole-source and competitive opportunities, and bringing them to the right business leaders for alignment with client strategy
• Building and executing targeted account plans with Sector leaders to engage and influence decision-makers at the highest levels within accounts
• Developing fluency in Deloitte Consulting's portfolio and cross-firm integrated offerings to speak credibly across the full range of capabilities and how Snowflake can enable them
• Establishing and growing business relationships with senior client executives across Deloitte

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience selling technology and consulting-related services to complex clients, including high-end, project-based engagements with long sales cycles and both large and small dollar transactions
• Experience selling Cloud, AI & Data services in specific industries with demonstrable industry functional knowledge (e.g. Manufacturing, Financial Services, Life Sciences, Energy, etc)
• Strong Life Sciences business acumen, including understanding of common industry challenges and how AI & Data solutions address them across Commercial, R&D, and Supply Chain/Manufacturing functions
• Deep understanding of the cloud-based AI & Data platforms like Snowflake
• Strong sales management experience, with a track record of leading complex pursuits — proposal development, oral presentations, and competitive positioning — that win new business
• Ability to gain access to and influence decision-makers at the highest levels of client organizations, backed by strong presentation and communication skills
• Comfort operating in a multi-layered matrix organization, with the team orientation to build consensus across matrixed teams and multiple leaders
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Bachelor's degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

• Advanced degree
• Prior experience selling Cloud, AI & Data solutions into Life Sciences accounts (pharma, biotech, medtech)
