What is Ramdam?

Ramdam is revolutionizing creator content delivery for advertising campaigns through AI.
Our platform for clients and mobile app for creators enables AI-driven brief generation, AI-creator scoring, and soon, AI-powered video feedback to ensure alignment with briefs.

Our vision: we do not believe AI avatars will replace real creators in advertising campaigns. However, we are convinced that the entire process should be fully managed and streamlined through AI, minimizing friction and optimizing performance.

We work with industry leaders (Voodoo, MWM, Allianz, Palmolive Colgate) and have seen explosive growth since launching a year ago. Our goal is to reach $100M in annual revenue by providing brands with top-performing creators videos without them having to manage any part of the process.

Mission

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who is in the top 1% of their field—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and delivers exceptional results. You will be a core player in our team, working closely with our Staff Engineer, building robust, scalable backend services. Position tasks

• Collaborate, Architect and build highly scalable backend systems using Node.js and other key technologies from our stack closely with the Staff Engineer to align on technical vision and ensure backend solutions meet our high standards of performance and reliability.
• Be owner of your milestones with a high-velocity, code-first approach, driving projects from concept to deployment at record speed.
• Inspire other engineers, not just by example but by actively promoting best coding practices, driving code reviews, and solving complex problems collaboratively.
• Provide input on the medium and long-term trajectory for code design and architecture of various services
• Track the release of new versions in production

Skill Set

Must have →

• You have a strong foundation in our tech stack, particularly NodeJs, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS
• You have already had lead responsibilities on complex projects
• LLMs hold no secrets for you, you’re an Advocate
• You are rigorous and autonomous
• You enjoy writing sustainable and resilient code that can handle corner cases, and you have a passion for well-done work
• You can be critical and provide suggestions as the code base grows
• You are curious and keep up to date with developments and best practices
• You are sensitive to the user experience and think beyond pure technical specifications
• You bring your experience and ideas with you and are not afraid to share them with the entire team to help grow Ramdam
• You are fluent in French
• You are also fluent in English and comfortable working with non-French speakers.

Nice to have →

• Skills with MongoDB, DynamoDB and/or ElasticSearch databases
• Experience working in a hyper-growth startup environment.

Experience

• At least 3+ years of total backend engineering experience.
• Proven track record as senior backend and delivering highly performant, scalable backend solutions.
• Hands-on experience building backend solutions for systems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you’ve been a major contributor to the scaling efforts.
• A proven history of problem-solving in complex, distributed systems

Process

1. A 30-60 minutes technical interview with Emmanuel (CTO) to assess your skills (video call)
2. A technical test to be completed at your own place to confirm your competencies
3. An interview with the two other founders (Benjamin and Xavier) to validate the human fit (in-person)
