QA Engineer.

 

Role Summary

This position is to ensure the quality of Amway Japan websites, applications, and systems. this role develops test plans, designs, and executes test scenarios, performs quality analysis, and drives continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to customers and consumers.

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Understand roles and features about Amway Japan websites, applications, and systems
• Collaborate with technology product owners, business analysts, developers, internal business users to clarify test scopes and to develop test plans using project and technical information as input
• Collaborate with local QA vendors to drive the following initiatives
  • Design test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements
  • Perform all tests according to the schedule
  • Analyze test results(defect count, feature, and cause)
  • Improve QA and technology activities using analysis output
  • Maintain automation scripts for test execution and asses new tool implementation
  • Drive AI initiatives in the QA space
  • This is a QA engineer role, so immediately this role will start with NGE:
    • Automation scripts
    • Ecosystem testing
    • Regression testing before monthly sprints
  • With the new NextGen ecosystem, there will be 2 deployments a month from the NextGen and SRE teams. This will require extensive testing and validation.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience

(Experiences/Skills)

• Experience of systems and applications QA work for 5+ years
• Experience of designing test scenarios and test cases
• Experience of test execution including API test
• Experience of test automation(Playwright, Selenium etc)
• Experience of proceeding test efficiency using AI tool
• Experience of analyzing test results and improvement proposal
• Ability to mutually communicate and professionally work with coworkers and business stakeholders
• Agility to take an action based on the various situation and to find a solution professionally
• Preferred certifications : ISTQB/JSTQB
