Job Description
Just imagine connecting the teams that plan, build and move millions of LEGO® products through a growing global supply chain. Then make it real.
About the role
As our Staff Engineer, you’ll help shape the future of Supply & Demand Technology within Manufacturing & Supply Chain Technology at the LEGO Group.
You’ll provide technical leadership across multiple product teams, creating alignment around technical direction, portfolio priorities and scalable solutions.
This isn’t a hands-on coding role. Instead, you’ll use your technical depth and supply-chain experience to help teams manage complexity, make confident decisions and turn technical insight into meaningful business impact.
You’ll:
- Set and align technical direction across multiple product teams within the Supply & Demand Technology portfolio.
- Guide architecture and technical decisions while creating visibility of dependencies, risks and opportunities.
- Support major transformation priorities across supply-chain planning, ERP and transportation management.
- Connect engineering, product and business stakeholders around shared priorities and scalable solutions.
- Coach Lead Engineers and technical communities, strengthening consistent approaches across teams.
- Build trusted relationships across global and regional teams, influencing through technical credibility rather than formal authority.
What you’ll build
Your work will help create:
- Stronger collaboration and alignment across the Supply & Demand Technology portfolio.
- Consistent technical approaches that enable product teams to work together effectively.
- Greater visibility of dependencies, risks and opportunities across interconnected products and programmes.
- Technical foundations supporting supply-chain planning, ERP transformation, transportation management and AI adoption.
- Clearer connections between technology decisions, portfolio priorities and business outcomes.
Life on the team
You’ll join Supply & Demand Technology, part of Manufacturing & Supply Chain Technology.
The team supports a large and interconnected global supply chain, bringing together product teams, engineering communities and business stakeholders across organisational and regional boundaries.
The stakeholder landscape is complex, and different teams will bring different perspectives and priorities. Success comes from building networks, earning trust, showing patience and creating clarity where those perspectives meet.
You’ll work closely with Principal Engineers, Lead Engineers, Engineers, product leaders and business stakeholders. The environment values collaboration, learning, knowledge sharing and helping others succeed.
What success looks like
You’ll become a recognised and trusted technical leader across a highly connected portfolio.
You’ll help teams make confident technical decisions, create alignment across product boundaries and make complex dependencies easier to understand and manage.
Over time, your work will strengthen collaboration across the portfolio and establish scalable foundations for major priorities, including ERP transformation, transportation management and the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities.
If you’ve helped an organisation navigate major technology transformation within a global supply-chain environment, you’ll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to connect people, create alignment and turn technical insight into business impact.
What you bring
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Led technical direction across multiple product teams within complex, global supply-chain technology environments.
- Delivered enterprise-scale transformations across ERP, supply-chain planning, transportation management or related technologies.
- Worked with supply-chain processes and platforms supporting areas such as demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing or logistics.
- Guided architecture, technical decisions and dependency management across interconnected products and programmes.
- Influenced engineering, product and business stakeholders across organisational and regional boundaries.
- Coached Lead Engineers and technical communities without relying on direct line authority.
It would be an advantage if you also have:
- Experience delivering global ERP transformations involving SAP or SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of Kinaxis or comparable supply-chain planning platforms.
- Experience with transportation management technologies in a global supply-chain environment.
- Exposure to AI-enabled technology initiatives operating at enterprise scale.
Bring your technical leadership, supply-chain understanding and collaborative mindset, and help us shape the future of global supply-chain technology.
