Company Description

About the team

At Canva, our mission is to empower the world to design.

Korea is one of our fastest-growing markets, and we're building a brand here that locals love — through campaigns, partnerships, and a steady drumbeat of always-on content. As our marketing programme scales, we need someone who can help us produce creative work at pace, without dropping the quality bar.

Job Description

About the role

We're looking for a Marketing Creative Producer to join the Korea team on a 12-month contract.

You'll execute and manage creative production across brand campaigns, social, partnerships, and performance marketing. Working closely with the Brand Marketing Lead, you'll produce assets hands-on, keep timelines tight, and bring craft and judgement to every output — coordinating closely with the Korea team and external partners.

If you can pick up Canva and turn marketing ideas into tangible work — this role's for you.

What great looks like in this role

• The Korea content calendar runs on time, with work that consistently raises the creative bar

• Campaigns move from brief to live in shorter cycles, without losing quality

• Key creative effectiveness metrics trend up campaign over campaign as the work gets sharper

• Partners, agencies, and vendors work smoothly with us because you're a clear, organised counterpart

• Your instincts start shaping what we make — not just how it gets made

What you'll do

• Execute creative production for brand campaigns, social content, partnership marketing, and other Go-to-Market initiatives

• Translate briefs into deliverables, timelines, and execution plans — then produce the assets yourself

• Design marketing assets in Canva: social content, banners, display ads, campaign visuals, and short-form video edits

• Run project timelines, feedback rounds, and delivery against the Korea content calendar

• Coordinate with agencies, production vendors, creators, and freelancers — handling comms, feedback, and quality control

• Write and refine short-form copy: hooks, headlines, and CTAs, all in our brand voice

• Support creative production across the funnel, aligned to campaign goals

Qualifications

What we're looking for

We're not looking for someone who ticks every box. We're looking for a signal stack — strong craft, sharp instincts, and the behaviours that compound into impact over time.

Craft you'll bring

• A strong body of work in marketing or creative production, demonsrated through a thoughtful portfolio, with graphic and motion design specialties (most candidates have around 5+ years of experience, but a clear track record matters more than the number on your CV)

• Canva proficiency, plus working knowledge of other creative tools like Figma, Adobe CS, etc.

• Short-form video editing capabilities

• Bilingual in Korean and English — written and spoken

Signals we'll look for

• Hustles like an owner. You take initiative without waiting for direction, manage multiple projects in parallel, and move work forward at pace

• Goes beyond the brief. You don't stop at the original ask. When you see a chance to raise the bar, you take it

• Learns fast. Your feed is your reference library. You absorb trends naturally and have strong content instincts

• Creates with AI. You're hands-on with AI tools and use them to push your range, speed up production, and explore ideas you wouldn't have on your own

• Communicates with clarity. Sharp short-form copy, clean briefs, smooth coordination with vendors and partners — all in our brand tone of voice

• Thinks user-first, in a Korean context. You understand the local creator and influencer ecosystem, and you have good judgement about what lands with Korean audiences

Nice to have

• A background both as a freelancer or solo creator, and as a part of a creative team within a brand or company
