Senior Data and AI Governance Analyst

Job Title: Senior Data and AI Governance Analyst

Location: Guadalajara, Mexico, Hybrid

This is a hybrid position, which will require the ability to be onsite in our Guadalajara, Mexico office as needed. Candidates must be based in Guadalajara.

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Revenue is complex, and clarity is rare. Our mission at Salesloft is to transform revenue complexity into clear, decisive action for every team driving growth.

We’re building the industry’s first Predictive Revenue System, where humans and AI work together to make confident decisions based on real signals. Thousands of customers run on our platforms every day, which gives us Revenue Context: a view into what happens in a deal, when, and with what outcome.

Our vision is a future where revenue growth is predictable and the teams driving it are unstoppable. If you want to help build it, alongside people who Move as One and let Evidence over Ego guide the work, we’d love to meet you.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Own the data governance, AI governance, and DLP programs that earn and keep customer trust as Salesloft scales its AI-powered revenue platform.

As our Data Governance Senior Analyst, you’ll own and mature key parts of our data governance, AI governance, and DLP programs as a member of our fast-growing Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. Your work will make sure the customer data behind our Predictive Revenue System and the Revenue Context it delivers is classified, handled, and protected responsibly, including every data flow into and out of our AI systems. You’ll partner with Product and Engineering leadership to build privacy-by-design and responsible AI into new features early in the roadmap. In your first six months you will:

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of our data governance program, including data classification, data handling standards, and data lifecycle and retention policies.
• Build and operate our AI governance program, including AI policies and standards, an inventory of AI systems, models, and AI-enabled vendor tools, and a risk-based intake and approval process for new AI use cases.
• Own configuration, monitoring, and tuning of our DLP tooling and controls, serving as the escalation point for complex or high-risk DLP alerts and data handling incidents.

HOW YOU’LL WORK HERE (our values, in this role)

• Move as One: You’ll partner directly with Product, Engineering, Security, Sales, and Customer Success, and share credit when governance is built into the work from the start.
• Evidence over Ego: You’ll ground every risk assessment and policy in real data flows, and say so when the evidence changes your mind.
• Lead from the Front: You’ll own our data governance, AI governance, and DLP programs end to end, and mentor junior team members along the way.
• Customer-Inspired: You’ll turn customer data governance, AI governance, and security questions into clear standards that earn their trust.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’re a seasoned data and AI governance professional who balances regulatory rigor with practical business judgment, explains complex data handling and AI risk clearly to technical and executive audiences, and is excited to build something meaningful in a fast-moving SaaS environment. If you want to learn more, do more, and become more, this is your next move.

YOU’LL BRING (must-haves, max 5–6)

• 5+ years in data governance, AI governance, DLP, information security, or a related compliance role (3+ with a Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience), working independently and reviewed primarily at critical milestones
• Owned data governance frameworks with minimal oversight, including data inventories, data mapping, records of processing, retention schedules, and data classification
• Hands-on experience with DLP tools and data classification/labeling technologies (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Symantec/Broadcom DLP, Netskope, Forcepoint, or similar), including independently investigating and remediating complex DLP alerts and data handling incidents
• Working knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI practices (AI risk assessments, AI system and model inventories, model documentation, human oversight controls) and of how data flows through AI and machine learning systems, with familiarity with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act
• Strong working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other major privacy regulations, plus privacy-by-design and data minimization principles, with a track record of influencing Product, Engineering, and Security leadership on data handling decisions
• Strong project leadership and communication: you manage multiple workstreams, mentor others, build relationships with senior internal and external partners through persuasion and negotiation, and translate complex data handling, AI risk, and regulatory requirements into clear guidance for technical and executive audiences

IT’S A BONUS IF YOU HAVE

• ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 experience
• Experience leading data protection impact assessments (DPIAs/PIAs) for new products, features, and third-party relationships
• Experience responding to complex customer data governance, AI governance, and security questionnaires and due diligence requests
