At Upvest, we are on a mission to make investing as easy as spending money. Upvest empowers businesses to offer a wide range of investment products and the best experience in the field of capital market investment and retirement planning. Upvest’s Investment API is easy to integrate so that fintechs and financial institutions can save resources and fully focus on their core business.

We are proud to partner with Europe’s leading Fintechs and financial institutions such as DKB, Revolut, N26 and Raisin. Founded in 2017 by Martin Kassing, Upvest now brings together over 270 talented professionals from more than 70 nationalities. Upvest is backed by €280M in total funding from world-class investors, including BlackRock, Tencent, Sapphire Ventures, and Bessemer Venture Partners, Earlybird, Notion Capital, and Motive. Our latest €105M funding round in March 2026 - led by Sapphire and Tencent - serves as a massive catalyst for our growth, allowing us to offer premier investment experience.

As Upvest continues to scale, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Product - Clients. You will work closely with Florian Thiel, Christian Wöhlke, and the Product & Engineering teams of the tribe (3 domain teams in total). In addition you will need to build strong relations with the Operations, Banking and Commercial leadership teams, owning topics critical to Upvest's product and business success.

Lead the clients tribe's product vision and strategy:

As Head of Product, you start leading one of the Clients tribe teams directly, while guiding the overarching strategy and success of the Clients Tribe and you start scaling yourself. You will work very closely with the Director of Engineering and VP of Product to define the tribe's strategy, set OKRs, and shape the long-term roadmap. The goal: to power Upvest's asymmetric scaling by building the intelligent, seamless "AI-experience", internal and external, that makes flawless API experiences the foundation of Upvest's ecosystem.

Drive asymmetric scaling through intelligent, agentic operations:

Your challenge is to make our tools and workflows scale without lockstep headcount growth.. That means embedding intelligence and automation into every process, and exploring how agentic operations, AI agents handling operational workflows end to end, can take on work that today needs manual effort. You'll be the go-to voice for applied AI across our tooling, helping the business run efficiently and helping clients get to market faster, at lower cost and higher reliability.

Take tooling into its next stage:

You'll own the roadmap for Internal Tooling or Upfront, both key strategic product enablers for scaling the business, and drive it forward through OKRs, deciding where to push deeper automation, broaden coverage, or reimagine a workflow entirely. You'll work directly with the Engineering team, and stay close to the people the products serve, so every step forward is one that truly matters.

• Significant impact and strategic influence, shaping the roadmap and scaling strategy with a seat at the table with engineering and product leadership.

• Autonomy coupled with inspirational leadership. You fully own the product success of your team and function.

• Product-centricity throughout the organisation, with no struggle for relevance that product people may encounter elsewhere.

• Product Engineering culture, working closely with engineering counterparts guided by joint OKRs and a clear roadmap.

• An exceptional team, combining impactful work with a relaxed, fun atmosphere and consistently high eNPS.

• Continuous learning across investments, API products, and a state-of-the-art tech stack.

• 5+ years in Product Management, ideally with a focus on internal and/or external tooling. Financial services, compliance, or fintech experience is a big plus.

• Proven people leadership of teams of 3+ people.

• Firm grasp of UI/UX best practices; can ideate and prototype through lo-fi wireframes and collaborate closely with design.

• Strong track record of taking initiative, owning outcomes, and bridging dependencies.

• Be a sponge. You don't need to be a finance or investment expert, but you'll need to absorb complex topics quickly (subledger reconciliation, mutual fund trading flow) and apply strong product fundamentals.

• Experience with agile software development, delivering features and outcomes consistently.

• Comfortable with product toolkits such as Linear, Slite, Miro, and Figma.

• Familiarity with API documentation standards and an interest in how AI agents consume APIs (MCP or similar) is a strong plus.

• Best-in-class AI tools: Every Upvenger has €20,000 per year to spend on the best AI tools available — so you're always working with the most powerful models and tooling on the market.

• Impact-driven work: We’re building the infrastructure that will power the future of investing in Europe. It’s complex, ambitious, and meaningful. You’ll work with modern technologies and create something entirely new. No legacy systems, no limits.

• Wellbeing: Recharge with 30 days of annual leave and maintain a healthy lifestyle with sports benefits. Access confidential professional coaching and enjoy the flexibility to work remotely abroad for up to 183 days a year. Recharge with UpRest, a one-month fully paid sabbatical after every 4 years of working at Upvest.

• Development: Growth is in our DNA. Each Upvenger has access to a personal development budget and the freedom to decide how to use it.

• Flexible work environment: Work from any of our hubs in Berlin, London or Tallinn hybrid or remotely across Europe, depending on the role. We give you the choice and budget to work where you’re most comfortable and productive, either at home or in the office. You choose.

• Compensation and equity: We believe that all Upvengers contribute to our success and deserve a competitive, above-market salary and a participation in our employee equity program.

• Team celebrations: Participate in company-wide events, such as UpFest, dinners, offsites and our Holiday party, to connect with colleagues and celebrate our achievements.

• Inclusion: We’re committed to a culture where everyone belongs and thrives. Our Employee Resources Groups foster inclusion and connection, like Upfem for our female Upvengers, or UpVergent supporting neurodivergent Upvengers and allies.

• Make it easy for others. We simplify the complex and act with the best intentions.

• Own the outcome. We are proactive, fast and confident to get the job done, valuing progress over perfection.

• Rise to the challenge. We aim high and push the boundaries. We stay curious, learn and celebrate our wins together.

• Tell the story. We start with the Why to align on purpose. We are transparent and share knowledge to empower and inspire others.

Upvest is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
