About Fullscript   We’re an industry-leading health technology company on a mission to help people get better. We started in 2011 with one simple idea. Make it easier for practitioners to access the products they trust so they can deliver better care.   That simple idea grew into a platform that powers every part of care. Today, more than 125,000 practitioners use Fullscript for clinical insights, lab interpretations, patient analytics, education, and access to high-quality supplements. Over 10 million patients rely on Fullscript to stay connected to their care plans and follow through on treatment.   We build tools that make care smarter and more human. Tools that save time, simplify decisions, and help practitioners stay closely connected to the people they care for. When everything they need is in one place, they can focus on what matters most: helping people get better.   This is your invitation.   Bring your ideas, your grit, and your care for people. Join us and shape the future of care.

The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Engineering to lead high-impact engineering teams and shape the future of Fullscript’s platform. You’ll drive technical vision, scalability, and innovation, ensuring our technology empowers practitioners to provide better patient care.

As a strategic and hands-on leader, you’ll guide engineering teams, managers, and cross-functional partners to deliver exceptional products and infrastructure. Your role is to enable teams to move quickly, solve complex technical challenges, and ensure our systems scale to meet growing demand.

This role bridges the gap between infrastructure teams and product engineering, focusing on developer productivity, system reliability, and scalability

What You'll Do

• Define and execute the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for multiple engineering teams.
• Lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and impact.
• Ensure technical excellence by establishing best practices in engineering, security, and performance.
• Support platform growth while maintaining system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with executives to align engineering priorities with business objectives.
• Champion strong engineering practices, including managing technical debt, observability, and long-term maintainability
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement, incorporating learnings from launches and retrospectives

What You Bring

• Experience leading engineering teams that build customer-facing applications at scale
• Strong track record in growing and mentoring technical leaders and senior engineers
• Proven ability to drive collaboration across engineering, product, design, and data teams.
• The ability to own team outcomes end-to-end, balancing delivery, quality, and long-term technical health
• Broad technical fluency across your team’s domain, with the ability to engage in design discussions and guide technical decision-making
• Strong execution skills - you can forecast, communicate progress, manage risk, and adapt plans as needed

What You Get

• Ability to work Wherever You Work Well*
• Flexible Paid Time Off program
• Fullscript’s RRSP match program
• Custom benefits package (medical, dental, vision) with HSA
• Discount on Fullscript catalog of products for family & friends
• Training budget and company-wide learning initiatives
