IN A NUTSHELL

We're looking for a Head of Partnerships, PR & Community to lead how Bulk™ connects with culture, builds communities and earns attention across the UK and Europe.

You will own everything Bulk™ earns rather than buys: partnerships, athletes and creators, PR and earned media, our organic social channels, community, and the events and activations that bring the brand to life. Your job is to take the brand strategy and turn it into relationships, moments and content that people choose to take part in and talk about.

This is a build role. Today these responsibilities sit across several teams and no single owner. You will bring them together into one function, decide where we invest, and lead a small team and an agency to deliver it.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Brand Partnerships, Athletes and Creators

Two distinct models sit under you, and they are run differently. Ambassadors and athletes are a small, contracted portfolio built for long-term credibility. Creators are a broad, changing network briefed and activated at speed. You own both and protect the difference between them.

• Build and lead a portfolio of partnerships with brands, gyms, venues, athletes and creators that strengthens Bulk's relevance and reaches new audiences.

• Identify and negotiate opportunities that deliver clear value, from long-term collaborations to campaign partnerships and cultural moments.

• Set clear objectives and review partner performance, so investment delivers against brand and commercial goals.

• Keep the ambassador roster small, deliberate and genuinely aligned to the brand, and the creator network large, fast and constantly refreshed.

PR and Earned Media

• Own Bulk's PR and earned media strategy, building visibility through press coverage, organic reach and word of mouth.

• Develop stories around product launches, partnerships, athletes and brand campaigns that press and creators actually want to carry.

• Lead the PR agency: set the brief, the expectations and the measures, and hold them to the quality and relevance of coverage rather than volume.

• Read cultural trends and audience insight, and turn them into timely brand activity.

• Work with Brand Studio so storytelling and amplification are built into campaigns from the outset, not added afterwards.

Organic Social

Our organic channels sit with you. This is a change from how the team has worked before, and it is deliberate: the same person who builds relationships with creators and communities should own the channels those relationships show up on.

• Own the strategy, editorial calendar and performance of Bulk's organic social channels across markets.

• Set the channel strategy: what each platform is for, who it speaks to, and what good looks like on it.

• Lead a social-first content model: fast, responsive, made for the platform, and briefed into the Studio where it needs craft.

• Run social listening and cultural response, so Bulk shows up in the conversation while it is still happening.

• Work with Performance where organic content is amplified, and with CRM and Loyalty to connect social engagement to retention.

Community

• Define and lead Bulk's community strategy, building lasting relationships with people who share a passion for fitness, health and performance.

• Develop programmes that turn customers, gym communities and advocates into active participants in the brand.

• Create regular opportunities for participation through training experiences, local events and community partnerships.

• Connect physical experience with digital engagement, advocacy and repeat participation.

• Bring community feedback into brand planning, so activity reflects what matters to our audiences.

Brand Experiences and Activations

• Lead the development and delivery of brand experiences, from community events to major activations, pop-ups and PR moments.

• Ensure every activation has a clear audience, a brand purpose and a plan to generate reach well beyond the people attending.

• Oversee end-to-end delivery: concept, agency briefing, budget, execution and reporting.

• Champion AI-enabled workflows and automation to cut administration and free up time for creative development and relationship building.

Performance and Measurement

• Set clear measures of success across partnerships, PR, organic social, community and events.

• Track quality and relevance of coverage, earned reach, social conversation, community growth, participation, advocacy and brand sentiment.

• Work with insight and commercial teams to assess the contribution to brand awareness, consideration and demand.

• Use the results to improve activity, prioritise investment and demonstrate value to senior stakeholders.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 7-10 years experience across brand partnerships, PR, community or experiential marketing, with a track record of leading integrated programmes.

• Significant experience across brand partnerships, PR, organic social, community or experiential marketing, with a track record of leading integrated programmes.

• Proven ability to take a brand strategy and turn it into distinctive activity that builds relevance and delivers measurable results.

• Experience owning organic social channels at brand level - strategy and editorial direction, not just campaign support.

• Experience leading teams, managing agencies and owning budgets.

• Strong partnership negotiation skills, with relationships that deliver value on both sides.

• Experience building engaged communities and turning participation into sustained advocacy.

• Understanding of UK and European audiences, media and cultural landscapes, ideally within fitness, sport, lifestyle or consumer brands.

• A creative, culturally aware thinker with the judgement to recognise what is right for Bulk and what is just noise.

• A confident leader who develops people and brings cross-functional teams together.

• A natural relationship builder, comfortable influencing partners and senior stakeholders.

• Commercially aware, able to connect brand investment to business outcomes.

• Comfortable working to a brand strategy set by someone else, and making it better rather than replacing it.

• Able to balance long-term strategy with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment.

• Genuine interest in fitness, health and nutrition.
