Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a territory and account strategy focused on pipeline creation, revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term customer relationships across SLED accounts.
• Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities by engaging customers, uncovering business and technology priorities, and connecting those needs to HPE solutions.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline across short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities.
• Establish and expand relationships with key customer stakeholders, influencers, and executive decision-makers across IT and the broader organization.
• Understand customers’ business objectives, technology strategies, challenges, and priorities and translate them into relevant IT opportunities.
• Position HPE’s broader portfolio of products, solutions, and services to address customer requirements and deliver measurable business value.
• Lead complex sales opportunities from early engagement through closure, coordinating internal specialists, presales resources, business units, and channel partners throughout the sales cycle.
• Develop compelling business value propositions that connect HPE solutions to customers’ strategic priorities and desired outcomes.
• Build and execute comprehensive account plans and maintain clear strategies for developing and expanding assigned accounts.
• Partner closely with HPE specialists and extended account teams to ensure the right resources are engaged throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Develop and leverage the partner ecosystem to expand market coverage, create opportunities, and strengthen HPE’s presence throughout territory
• Maintain an understanding of IT industry developments, emerging technologies, competitive dynamics, and trends impacting public-sector customers.
• Provide accurate pipeline, forecast, opportunity, and account information while maintaining strong operational discipline throughout the sales process.
• Serve as a customer advocate within HPE, coordinating across internal organizations to support customer satisfaction, resolve barriers, and create a consistent customer experience.

Education and Experience:

• University or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and building new business.
• Enterprise technology sales experience preferred.
• SLED or public-sector sales experience preferred.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and executive-level customer relationships.
• Experience working with channel partners and cross-functional sales teams preferred.
• Reside within Florida and have the ability to travel regularly for customer, partner, and business engagements

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong hunter mentality with the ability to identify, develop, and convert new opportunities.
• Proven ability to build pipeline and expand business within an assigned territory.
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to connect customer business priorities to technology solutions.
• Ability to develop trusted relationships with customer executives, IT leaders, partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles and the ability to lead opportunities from prospecting through close.
• Ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams and effectively engage specialists, presales resources, business units, and partners.
• Working knowledge of enterprise technology and current IT trends, with the ability to continually develop knowledge of HPE’s portfolio.
