Bezel is the first technology company dedicated to high end watches, building a 100% authenticated marketplace that delivers trust at scale. We are rethinking the entire watch buying experience from browsing & transacting to tracking the market. We’re a team of collectors, enthusiasts, and technologists disrupting the $20B secondary watch market.

At Bezel, authentication and user trust is at the core of our mission, and we believe watch buying should feel as good as watch wearing. Bezel’s Watch Operations Team is responsible for managing the distribution network built to authenticate watches, fulfill orders, and ensure on-time delivery to buyers.

As a watchmaker at Bezel, you’ll be working alongside passionate horologists at the most trusted marketplace in the industry, and ensure that our reputation scales alongside the demand for our services. You’ll regularly see a vast array of watches from multiple brands, and check the functionality of all complications while working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment rooted in elevating the online luxury watch retail experience.

We’re highly dedicated to the Quality Assurance and Quality Control of all watches that flow through our platform. Our authentication process ensures that the working condition of each watch is as it is described on the sale listing, and communicates the diagnostic findings to the Authentication, and Concierge/Customer Service teams. You’ll be cross-functionally responsible for authenticating, inspecting, testing, refinishing, repairing, researching and servicing watches. Additional responsibilities include, tool and parts supply management, upkeep of the watchmaking departments equipment, and detailed authentication documentation.

We’re open to watchmaking candidates with varying levels of proficiency, knowledge, and certifications/credentials. The exact title and scope will be tailored to match the experience and expertise of the individual.

Unique benefits of being a watchmaker at Bezel include a salary commensurate with a venture-backed startup, equity in Bezel, unlimited paid time off, and flexible arrival and departure times. The role will report directly to our Lead Watchmaker and be based out of our LA office. Only applicants located in the US or eligible to work in the US, please.
