Samba is a media intelligence company. We know what the world is watching, reading, and thinking about — in real time, at scale, across every screen. Our data exists with the consent of over a billion people, organized into the most complete picture of consumer attention ever built. The biggest brands in the world use that picture to make smarter decisions. We think it’s the most interesting data asset on the planet, because it’s the most culturally relevant.
We're seeking a strategic product leader to own and drive our Measurement & Audiences portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll be accountable for the full P&L and strategic direction of products that enable advertisers to plan, activate, measure, and optimize their campaigns across our platform. This portfolio sits at the intersection of data science, media execution, and business intelligence—requiring both analytical rigor and commercial acumen.

What You'll Do

Portfolio Leadership & Strategy
• Own the vision, roadmap, and business outcomes for Measurement and Audiences products, including reach/frequency campaign measurement, outcomes measurement, audience segmentation/activation, and platform integrations
• Drive portfolio-level prioritization across competing needs—balancing feature development, technical infrastructure, partner integrations, and strategic insights initiatives
• Define success metrics spanning customer adoption, measurement accuracy, revenue impact, and operational efficiency
• Translate market trends and customer feedback into actionable product strategy that differentiates our platform
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop a team of Product Owners/Managers across reach & frequency, outcomes measurement, audiences/activation, integrations, and strategic initiatives
• Coach team members on prioritization frameworks, data-driven decision making, and stakeholder influence
• Create clarity around roles and ownership, especially for the strategic initiatives function that identifies insights-driven opportunities for productization
• Build a high-performance culture that balances speed of execution with quality and customer impact
Cross-Portfolio Collaboration
• Partner closely with Data Science and Engineering to ensure measurement and audience modelling methodologies are statistically sound, scalable, and explainable
• Collaborate with Sales and Client Services to understand advertiser measurement and audience needs and translate them into product requirements
• Work with Business Development to prioritize and scope third-party integrations (DSPs, analytics platforms, data partners, clean rooms)
Strategic Initiatives & Insights
• Oversee a function dedicated to identifying product opportunities through customer insights, competitive analysis, and market research
• Establish processes for evaluating which strategic insights warrant investment and productization vs. one-off solutions
• Drive thought leadership externally on measurement best practices, privacy-safe attribution, and audience strategy
• Monitor industry evolution (MTA, MMM, incrementality testing, privacy changes) and position the portfolio accordingly
Customer & Market Focus
• Serve as the voice of advertisers and agencies, understanding how they evaluate campaign success and make optimization decisions
• Ensure products deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights that drive customer value and retention
• Navigate complex measurement challenges including cross-device tracking, walled garden limitations, and attribution modeling
• Champion industry standards and collaborate on initiatives that advance measurement transparency

Who You Are

• 12+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years leading product teams in ad tech, measurement, analytics, or audience platforms
• Deep expertise in digital advertising measurement—reach/frequency metrics, attribution models, incrementality testing, brand lift studies, or audience analytics
• Proven track record of managing products as a business, with P&L accountability and clear ownership of revenue and customer outcomes
• Strong analytical foundation with ability to evaluate statistical methodologies, challenge assumptions, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience managing both platform products (audience activation, measurement dashboards) and strategic initiatives (insights, R&D, partnerships)
• Exceptional ability to work in a highly matrixed environment—balancing needs of Sales, Engineering, Data Science, and external partners

Preferred Experience

• Experience with integrations to major ad platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, The Trade Desk, etc.) and understanding of their APIs and data models
• Track record of taking insights from strategic initiatives and successfully translating them into scaled product features
• Familiarity with privacy-preserving measurement techniques (clean rooms, aggregated reporting, synthetic controls)
• Experience in both B2B SaaS and media/advertising business models

The Challenge

This role requires someone who can operate at multiple altitudes—setting portfolio strategy while also diving deep into measurement science and audience debates. You'll need to balance the tension between customer-specific requests and scalable product development, between innovation in strategic initiatives and execution on core roadmap, and between being a demanding customer of upstream data products while being a reliable producer to downstream activation teams. Success means delivering measurement products that advertisers trust, that differentiate our platform, and that scale profitably.     #LI-CH
