Our engineers own work from understanding the problem through shipping and maintaining it. You will work directly with practitioners, observe department workflows, and use that context to make product decisions.

We build across conversational AI, structured data, multimedia, and records-system integrations. The work spans the interface a resident uses and the information a department receives.

What you’ll build

• Core reporting, case, and intelligence product features.
• Systems for narratives, structured data, multimedia, and the edge cases that come with them.
• Workflows shaped with detectives, officers, and agency staff.
• New tools for case triage, investigative search, and automated workflows.

You will help set engineering practices and make technical decisions across the product, backend, and infrastructure.

What you’ll bring

• Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python.
• Production experience with LLMs, voice and chat, embeddings, vector databases, or applied machine learning.
• Ability to work across the stack and take a feature through to production.
• A product mindset grounded in clear interfaces and user needs.
