Associate Manager, B2B Retention Marketing, DoorDash for Business

About the Team

DoorDash for Business provides meals solutions to companies, but we aren’t stopping there. Our mission is to become a premier benefits partner for executives, employees and administrators across the globe, leveraging the DoorDash platform to deliver industry-leading selection, quality, and customer service to every business customer, for every business use case. We are building an entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed, and fast moving team to create the right products and services for the future of work.

The B2B Retention Marketing team is responsible for building lasting relationships with our audiences through personalized, scalable, cross-channel experiences that drive retention and engagement. We take pride in being the trusted advisor for channel strategy, and the prominent customer advocate to our cross-functional partners — navigating them through every step of their DoorDash journey and empowering them with the right, personalized resources, education, and suite of solutions to maximize their business, at scale.

About the Role

As Associate Manager of Retention Marketing, you will be responsible for creating communications and lifecycle programs to increase adoption and activation of our DoorDash for Business product suite by company administrators and their employees / users (think B2B2C). You will collaborate with key stakeholders of the DoorDash for Business team, including product, eng, operations, and other marketers to move key business metrics through the use of CRM channels (email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging). This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at navigating ambiguity, and has a strong sense of ownership.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

• Develop, test and implement CRM strategies to improve key business metrics for DoorDash for Business. Experiment with new strategies and CRM tactics to increase conversion and deliver a personalized end-user experience.
• Create the strategy and framework to personalize communications based on the administrators needs and their users benefits.
• Execute end-to-end campaigns from strategy brief, to campaign build, QA, and launch.
• Manage cross-functional relationships with product marketing, operations, and product partners to lead the channel communications strategy for DoorDash for Business programs, including testing, iteration, and scaling.
• Manage the campaign strategy end to end. Includes driving the creative review process, collaborating with designers and copywriters, identifying target audience segments and capturing feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Analyze campaign results, develop benchmarks, and create and share regular performance reports.
• Align with partner teams regularly to share best practices and insights.

We’re excited about you because you have…

• 4-6+ years of experience in marketing or growth overall; 3+ years of experience in lifecycle, email, CRM, or retention marketing. Experience working in B2B / B2B2C a plus;
• Deep familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and experience executing across email, push, SMS, and in-app channels;
• A strong test-and-learn orientation and analytical skills — you run structured experiments, interpret results clearly, and use them to prioritize what to do next;
• The ability to use data to diagnose where a funnel is breaking down and translate that into a concrete improvement plan;
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — you work well with Product, Analytics, and Operations partners and can align stakeholders around a shared onboarding vision;
• High agency and an ownership mindset — you identify what needs to change and drive that change, rather than waiting to be directed;
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Sigma, Tableau, etc.;
• Extremely organization, dependability, and ability to multi-task;
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
