About the role

We're Ooak Data

Ooak Data turns company data into training data for AI agents.

Frontier labs can train models to reason. They cannot train them to work: navigating a real company's Slack threads, half-finished Notion docs, contradictory Jira tickets, and permission boundaries. That requires real enterprise data, and you cannot synthesize it. You have to source it.

We plug into enterprise tools, anonymize everything into a structurally identical digital twin, and generate reinforcement-learning environments with expert-level tasks calibrated against frontier models.

We are a Y Combinator company with 8 figures contracts signed with frontier AI labs, and we are scaling delivery aggressively over the next months.

🤝 Our values

• Trust, the foundation of every relationship, internal and external. We extend it by default and value the ownership that comes with it.
• Ambition, we commit, we move fast, with tenacity and efficiency.
• Collective, team first, low ego.
• Kindness, at the heart of every interaction.

The offer

📍 Location: Paris (city center), on-site with 1 to 2 days WFH

🕐 Start: as soon as you are available

💼 Contract: full-time (CDI)

💰 Compensation: fixed salary + equity (BSPCE)

✅ Your missions

As Operations Manager, you run deliveries: taking a partner's full data ecosystem and turning it into a dataset shipped to a frontier AI lab. You will report to Grégoire (COO & co-founder) and join the Ops team.

The chain you work on: evaluation → ingestion → anonymization → enrichment → delivery.

• Own your deliveries end to end. From the moment a partner signs to the moment the dataset ships. Timelines, quality, coordination with the partner and with our eng team. It is yours.
• Hold the quality bar. What we ship is checked by frontier labs. There is no room for approximation, and spotting the detail that is off is a large part of the job.
• Raise the bar every week. You are expected to come back with a process that is faster and cleaner than the one you were given.
• Make the manual work disappear. Parts of the chain are still hands-on. You will do some of that work, and then you will build the automation, the tools and the AI workflows that remove it.

🔍 Who we're looking for

You have 2+ years of experience in operations, project management, consulting, or a fast-moving startup. At least one full-time experience is mandatory, and you want to take real ownership early in an ambitious company.

🧠 Soft skills

• Curiosity - you want to understand how things really work, in depth, including the technical parts.
• Attention to detail - you catch what others miss, and you care that things are right, not just done.
• Drive - you want impact, you want to grow fast, and you are ready to put in the work for it.
• Initiative - you propose, you try, you are not afraid to fail.
• Tenacity - long or hard tasks do not discourage you; you see them through.

🛠️ Hard skills

• Automation mindset - you instinctively spot repetitive work and turn it into a reliable pipeline.
• Building with AI - you use LLMs and AI tools to automate workflows and solve problems end to end, not just to chat.
• Coding / scripting - you can write or vibe-code to automate tasks and ship internal tools, or you are hungry to learn fast.
• AI literacy - genuine interest in where the field is going: agents, RL, training data.
• Fluent English - mandatory (working language with our partners and the labs).

🎁 Why join us

• An exceptional learning curve - you join a small, senior, experienced team and work directly with the founders. You will learn faster here than anywhere else.
• Real ownership from day one - your deliveries, your processes, your decisions. Your opinion counts, and so does your work.
• Room to grow - the Ops team is being built right now. What you become here depends on what you prove.
• Entrepreneurial adventure - live the early days of an ambitious company at the front line of the AI revolution.
• Backed by Y Combinator, join just as we accelerate.
• Offices in central Paris.
• Perks: Alan health insurance (mutuelle), 50% Navigo covered.

About the interview
