Build AI enablement capabilities
Design, implement, test, and operate components that support AI-native development, such as tool integrations, context delivery, reusable skills, evaluation tooling, and agent execution.
Translate requirements into maintainable software with clear interfaces and appropriate error handling.
Integrate capabilities into developer tools and workflows, using established platform patterns and security controls.
Contribute to design discussions and explain implementation tradeoffs within your area of responsibility.
Use specifications and executable acceptance criteria to guide development and validate results.
Build agent loops that use tools and feedback to complete bounded engineering tasks, with clear completion criteria and execution limits.
Implement workflow graphs with branching, state management, retries, and human review where needed.
Maintain prompts, skills, context configurations, and evaluations alongside code as versioned engineering assets.
Use coding agents effectively in your own work and take responsibility for the correctness and maintainability of the resulting software.
Clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and break assigned work into achievable increments.
Independently resolve technical problems within your component or feature, raising broader design questions and delivery risks early.
Work with partner teams to resolve integration issues and deliver features that function within the wider platform.
Follow through on deployment, documentation, and operational readiness.
Develop tests and evaluations that assess software behavior and agent task completion against defined acceptance criteria.
Use logs, execution traces, and reproducible examples to diagnose failures across code, context, tool use, and orchestration.
Implement appropriate permissions, input handling, execution limits, and action traceability using established controls.
Monitor the health and performance of your components and address defects and operational issues.
Assess whether changes improve outcomes without increasing correction effort, latency, or cost unreasonably.
Work with developers and internal customers to understand how your features perform in real workflows.
Participate in code and design reviews, incorporating feedback and providing constructive input to peers.
Write documentation, examples, and onboarding guidance that help others use the capabilities you build.
Share lessons from experiments and delivery, and help teammates adopt effective AI-native development practices.
Professional experience developing and delivering production software, with strong programming, debugging, and testing skills.
Ability to own a component or feature through design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
