About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented Frontend Engineer to join our deep tech team. You'll be instrumental in building and refining our geospatial dashboard, creating intuitive interfaces that connect to real-time data streams from our Rust backend infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain our mapping/dashboard applications using TypeScript and Next.js
• Build responsive, performant user interfaces with strong attention to design details
• Manage complex state with React hooks and integrate with backend Redis streams
• Implement routing and API integrations connecting to our Rust backend
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless data flow
• Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on user experience

Technical Requirements

Required

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React
• Experience with TypeScript
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and state management
• Eye for design and commitment to pixel-perfect implementation
• Attention to detail in both code quality and user interface

Preferred

• Experience with Next.js
• Familiarity with Cesium, Mapbox, Google Maps, or similar 3D/mapping libraries
• Knowledge of real-time data streaming and WebSocket connections
• Understanding of Redis or similar data stores
• Experience with backend development and object-oriented programming
• UI/UX design experience or strong design sensibility
