Project Coordinator

 

Position Summary 

OPEX Corporation is looking to hire a seasoned Project Coordinator to join our Warehouse Automation division at our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. In this role the employee will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating Project installation activities in order to complete active construction projects. The employee will establish and monitor different goals throughout the project that can include procuring items, inventory monitoring, shipping schedules and project needs determined by Project Manager. The employee will have a high level of exposure to various OPEX teammates, so strong communication and organizational skills are required for this position.

Essential Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager with project tasks 
• Work closely with our engineering, production and installation teams to establish and execute the successful completion of warehouse automation installation projects.
• Develop and schedule project tasks in timely manner
• Work with key outside vendors to align delivery of goods
• Keep in close communication with installation Crew
• Recognize unexpected costs 
• Work with all departments within company for timeliness of activities to be completed
• Plan the shipping of materials from Manufacturing to Shipping manager
• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team
• Keep the Project Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact schedule 
• Other responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a project coordinator role
• College degree, preferably in a related field
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills 
• Able to oversee multiple projects
• Experience with organizing large projects 
• Able to read CAD drawings
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite of products
• Knowledge of machinery and basic building terms
• Effective communication skills; verbal and written
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment 
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities 

 

Physical/Work Environments

• Office environment
• Occasional travel may be required

 

Salary range for this position is $60,000 - $63,000, based on experience.
