About Aalo Atomics

Aalo Atomics is pioneering a new era in clean energy with factory-fabricated microreactors designed to deliver affordable, scalable, and reliable nuclear power. Our mission is to make nuclear energy globally accessible, starting with the Aalo-1, a 10 MWe reactor leveraging cutting-edge safety, modularity, and efficiency. Based in Austin, TX, we’re rapidly growing as we work to deploy the world’s first fleet of advanced microreactors. Join us and help revolutionize energy for a sustainable future.

About the Role:

Aalo Atomics is seeking a Vice President of Utility Partnerships to lead engagement with electric utilities, municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, public power organizations, and other strategic energy partners as we deploy the next generation of advanced nuclear technology.

This executive-level role will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships across the utility sector, identifying opportunities for future reactor deployments, and creating partnerships that support the growth of Aalo's microreactor fleet. The successful candidate will understand how utilities evaluate generation resources, plan for long-term capacity needs, and invest in critical energy infrastructure.

As a key member of Aalo's leadership team, you will help shape the company's commercial growth strategy and establish Aalo as a trusted partner for utilities seeking reliable, dispatchable, carbon-free power. This position is ideally suited for an individual with significant experience in electric utilities, power generation, resource planning, or utility business development, along with a strong interest in the future of nuclear energy and advanced reactor technologies.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute Aalo's utility partnership strategy across investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, public power agencies, and generation and transmission organizations.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with utility executives, resource planning leaders, generation executives, and boards of directors.
• Identify and advance opportunities for future deployment of Aalo microreactors and advanced nuclear energy systems.
• Establish strategic partnerships, memorandums of understanding, and commercial frameworks with utilities exploring advanced nuclear generation.
• Collaborate with utilities to evaluate potential sites and deployment opportunities, including retiring fossil generation facilities, utility-owned assets, industrial locations, and new development sites.
• Support utility customers as they evaluate advanced nuclear technologies within long-term resource planning and clean energy strategies.
• Develop commercial value propositions that align Aalo's technology with utility objectives related to reliability, resilience, affordability, energy security, and carbon reduction.
• Serve as Aalo's primary interface with utility associations, public power organizations, cooperative organizations, and other industry stakeholders.
• Monitor utility planning activities, generation trends, market developments, and emerging opportunities for advanced nuclear deployment.
• Represent Aalo Atomics at utility conferences, industry meetings, public power events, and executive forums.
• Work closely with internal development, engineering, and executive teams to align partnership opportunities with deployment priorities.
• Help build and maintain a robust pipeline of utility-supported projects that will accelerate commercialization of Aalo's technology.
