About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to build, operate, secure, and scale our cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform. The ideal candidate has deep production AWS and Amazon EKS experience, strong CI/CD and automation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own production AWS infrastructure, including EKS, EC2, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM, CloudWatch, WAF, and related services.
Operate and troubleshoot EKS clusters, Kubernetes workloads, networking, autoscaling, upgrades, and Helm deployments.
Build and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab across development, staging, and production.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Python, Bash, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident-response processes; participate in on-call production support.
Improve platform reliability, availability, security, performance, scalability, and AWS cost efficiency.
Implement cloud security controls, IAM least privilege, secrets management, patching, backup, and disaster recovery.
Collaborate with developers to improve release automation, deployment safety, and operational processes.
At least 3-5 years of hands-on DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering experience, ideally in a startup or fast-growing SaaS company.
Strong production experience with AWS and Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Linux.
Proven experience with both Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD, plus Terraform infrastructure as code.
Solid AWS networking knowledge: VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, and DNS.
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting distributed production services; scripting with Python or Bash.
Ability to independently own infrastructure, resolve incidents, and support a high-availability multi-tenant SaaS platform.
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Multi-region deployments, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, or advanced AWS networking.
GitOps, FinOps, DevSecOps, and SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance experience.
What We Value
Ownership, practical problem-solving, an automation-first mindset, strong collaboration, and the ability to balance rapid delivery with production stability and security.
