We are looking for an RTR / GL Accountant to join our Group Finance Centre and take care of accounting activities within the Record to Report process for Rohlik Group and related entities.
You will work on month-end closing, journal entries and account reconciliations across multiple entities. At the same time, we are looking for someone who does not just process accounting tasks mechanically, but also notices where processes can be made simpler, faster and more efficient.

Why this role is exciting

• You will work with accounting across multiple Rohlik Group entities, not just one local company.

• You will be part of the full RTR process and gain broader exposure to month-end closing and the reporting cycle.

• In addition to day-to-day accounting, you will also contribute to process improvement and standardisation.

• You will collaborate with colleagues across Finance and gradually build a deeper understanding of how Group Finance operates.

• This is a strong opportunity for someone who already has initial accounting experience and wants to continue developing professionally.

What you’ll do

• Take responsibility for your part of the month-end closing process

• Process regular Journal Vouchers

• Work according to the closing calendar across multiple entities

• Ensure the timeliness and quality of account reconciliations

• Handle routine and recurring accounting tasks independently

• Resolve known accounting issues in cooperation with the Group Accounting Manager

• Collaborate with other Finance teams across the Group

• Contribute to KPI setting and performance management

• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve the efficiency of RTR processes

What we’re looking for

• 1–2 years of practical experience in Czech accounting or finance

• Good understanding of basic accounting principles

• Studies or completed education in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Experience with, or interest in, continuous process improvement

• Strong attention to detail, good organisation and the ability to meet deadlines

• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams

• Fluent Czech (mandatory) and Advanced English, comfortable for everyday written and spoken communication

What’s in it for you

• Fair reward - You’ll get a strong fixed salary — no bonus games, no politics. Great work is rewarded clearly and fairly.

• Good food every day - You’ll enjoy a free lunch every day and fresh fruit & veggies in the office. Because good food fuels great work.

• Life, not just work - You’ll have real flexibility – three days in the office, 2 days Home Office where it suits you. And unlimited paid vacation based on trust.

• Personal growth - You’ll grow as fast as Rohlik does. Every challenge is a chance to learn and make an impact.

• Real impact - What you do here matters. You’ll see your work changing how people eat and live — from day one.

• Recognition among colleagues - Your effort won’t go unnoticed. You can recognise others (and be recognised) through peer credits to use in our internal cafeteria.

• Xtra membership - You’ll get free Xtra membership and 10% cashback on everything you buy on Rohlik.cz.

• Sport & wellbeing - You’ll stay active with company sports challenges or a subsidised Multisport card.

• A team that sticks together - You’ll work with people who move fast, support each other and celebrate wins together.

• This role is offered as a fixed-term contract to cover maternity/parental leave. That said, we grow fast every year — teams expand, priorities evolve, and new opportunities keep opening up — so there’s a strong chance the role will continue beyond the parental leave cover and transition into a permanent contract

• If this sounds like you…You’re someone who takes ownership, acts fast and gets things done. Ready to bake something great with us?
