Staff Software Engineer

Casap Technologies, Inc. has a job opening for a Staff Software Engineer. Lead the development of scalable backend systems supporting Casap's AI-powered financial automation and dispute management platform. Design and implement microservices, reusable libraries, and configurable system components. Develop and integrate backend services with credit card networks, banking systems, and merchant platforms. Lead end-to-end product feature development, defining system architecture, technology solutions, and implementation strategies. Improve engineering infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, system performance, security, and reliability. *In-person required*
Requirements: Employer will accept a master's degree in computer science or a related field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a software development-related occupation.
Any amount of experience in the additional requirements below will be acceptable unless a specific amount is noted. Prior academic background or work experience to include the following skills:
1. Backend software development and scalable system architecture; 2. Designing and implementing microservices and distributed backend systems; 3. Developing reusable software frameworks, libraries, and configurable system components; 4. Integrating backend services with external APIs, financial networks, banking systems, and merchant platforms; 5. End-to-end software development, including system architecture, technology selection, and feature implementation; 6. CI/CD pipelines, software deployment, and engineering infrastructure; 7. Backend system optimization, including performance, security, reliability, and scalability; and 8. Designing software systems for high-volume transaction processing and complex financial workflows.

Casap's compensation package includes a competitive base salary benchmarked against real-time market data, as well as equity for all full-time roles. We also offer exceptional benefits, as well as bonuses and commission plans for applicable roles. The listed US-based compensation range is a guideline and may be modified. Final compensation will vary based on market conditions, geographic location, and candidate qualifications, including relevant knowledge, skills, and experience assessed during the interview process.
