About the Role

Join an early-stage team building AI-powered regulatory and product compliance software for manufacturers and retailers. As a Founding Product Engineer, you will work closely with the engineering team and users to turn product priorities into useful, shipped features.

What You'll Do

Turn the product roadmap into features that deliver measurable value to users.
Speak directly with users and use their needs to shape and refine product priorities.
Maintain, refactor, and scale the codebase as the product develops.
Use AI agents as a regular part of your software development workflow.

What We're Looking For

Experience shipping software products to end users.
Technical work experience or a strong academic background in computer science or a related field. The role is open to candidates across a broad experience range, from 0 to 10 or more years.
Strong product judgment, a user-focused and problem-oriented approach, and the ability to identify common needs across customers.
Fluency in German and English.
Experience with one or more of TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Early-stage startup, B2B SaaS, LegalTech, RegTech, or AI and machine learning experience is a plus.
An entrepreneurial approach and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is €65,000 to €75,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Hybrid role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, with an expectation of working in the office four days per week.
