The challenge

The AI Platform team is responsible for all the AI platforms and tools used by Rappi teams, as well as many of those that reach our users. We build the agent platform (currently over 1,600 agents and 1,000 daily users), the evals platform, the company brain, an agentic data analytics platform, and consumer-facing agents that reach Rappi users directly. We’re a team that moves very fast: we’re always experimenting at the cutting edge of technology, with all providers and frameworks, and taking what we build to production. Your challenges

• Design and scale the distributed system that runs agents in production, for internal use and for end users
• Build the agent harness: agentic loop, tools, context, and streaming
• Evolve the evals platform and the company brain
• Bring reliability and security to production-grade levels
• Build and evolve our agentic data analytics platform
• Evaluate new models, frameworks, and products to ensure we stay at the cutting edge of technology

You will be a great fit

• Experience: 5+ years building production software in high-traffic or high-concurrency systems
• Architecture and scalability: distributed systems, consistency, caching, failure modes
• Proficiency in agentic coding with spec-driven development: spec and plan first, critical review of what the agent generates, verification against the real environment
• Hands-on experience building applications or agents on LLMs
• Experience building an agent harness or framework, eval systems, or agents for end users (preferred)
