Do you want to help executives navigate disruption at a scale and speed they've never faced before? Are you the kind of person who sees a hard problem and leans in instead of looking away? You're exactly who we're looking for.

We’re experiencing a historic shift that demands fresh thinking, bold moves, and forward-looking partners. AI is reshaping industries overnight. Global markets are shifting faster than playbooks can keep up. Entire business models are being rewritten in real time. There has never been a more exciting time to be a strategic advisor.

Recruiting for this role ends on 3/1/2027.

Is This You?

You're drawn to hard problems without easy answers. You follow market dynamics for fun. You're curious about industry disruption before it makes the front page. You read about a company making a bold bet and find yourself wondering about the strategic thinking and how they will execute their vision.

You don't need to have it all figured out, but you care about creating value for organizations, not just how a plan might read on a page. You're sharp enough to find the signal in messy data. You're excited about AI, not as a buzzword, but as a tool to deploy in high-stakes situations. Most of all, you want your work to have immediate impact.

If you want to become the kind of advisor executives trust with their hardest decisions, it starts at Deloitte as an Enterprise Tech Strategy Summer Associate.

What You’ll Do

Your work will feed the decisions executives can't afford to get wrong.

Here’s the day to day: you’ll get a problem that isn’t fully defined, and your job is structuring the question, connecting business ambition to the technology choices required to deliver it, and guiding the team from analysis to recommendation. You’ll dig into data, assess current-state capabilities, pressure-test the tradeoffs, and turn what you find into clear perspectives an executive can act on. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively with a project team, help lead workstreams, and communicate recommendations clearly to the leaders calling the shots on the most complex and innovative technology strategies of our time.

The questions you will wrestle with sit at the center of enterprise transformation:

• What target technology state will enable the company's strategy?
• Which platforms, data, and AI capabilities should be modernized, and in what sequence?
• How should cloud, architecture, cyber, and product or platform operating models evolve?
• Where can AI create differentiated value, and how can it be scaled responsibly?
• How should leaders address technology debt, investment tradeoffs, and the change required to activate the roadmap?

These are a few illustrative questions our clients are asking...and that you will address as part of our team!

The work spans the full arc of strategic advising: diagnosing where a business stands, charting where it needs to go, shaping the modernization roadmap, designing the transformation required to get there, and even staying with the business to turn the solution on! You'll be expected to think, not just execute, and to bring a perspective into every conversation.

The best strategies aren't measured by the quality of the deck, they're road-tested and measured by the value at scale that they create. Strategy and execution aren't separate disciplines. As an Enterprise Tech Strategy Summer Associate at Deloitte, you’ll learn how to connect the two.

How You’ll Grow

Our apprenticeship model means feedback shows up at every stage of the journey, beyond formal reviews. You’ll receive coaching in the moment, on the job, from people who've walked the path you're on now. You will learn alongside a community of innovators, strategists, and technical experts who solve complex tech challenges and mentor the next generation of technology leaders.

The skills you'll build as an Enterprise Tech Strategy Summer Associate are the foundation of a modern strategic advisor: how to turn messy data into a clear insight, how to translate technical complexity into an executive ready recommendation, and how to communicate a point of view clearly enough that it actually changes someone's thinking. You can be a future executive advisor or future CXO. We’ll get you ready for both.

Where You'll Focus

We advise Fortune 500 clients across all industries, serving both Corporate and Private Equity sponsors. That range is intentional. You’ll build from the to solve technology-enabled business problems from strategic framing through solution activation. Over time, that breadth turns into depth: you'll build on your expertise, translating business needs into target-state tech designs and communicating recommendations directly to CIOs, CTOs, and other technology leaders. Across each challenge, you’ll connect business ambition to technology choices and help clients turn strategy into scalable action.
