Chenyu Zhao is a co-founder of Fireworks AI. Previously, he was a senior staff software engineer at Google, where he led engineering work on Vertex AI, AutoML, MLOps and advertising machine learning. His earlier experience includes research at UC Berkeley and the University of Maryland, plus internships at NVIDIA, the Federal Reserve Board and NIST. He earned a BS at UC Berkeley in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, with Engineering Math and Statistics.
