Barret Zoph is Vice President of Research at Google DeepMind, where he works on reinforcement learning and post-training. He previously held research and leadership roles at OpenAI, co-founded Thinking Machines Lab, and spent approximately six years researching AI at Google Brain. Earlier in his career, he worked at USC’s Information Sciences Institute on statistical machine translation.
