Stephan Ewen is a co-founder of Restate, focused on building resilient distributed applications and event-driven systems. He was a co-founder and CTO of data Artisans, later Ververica, and one of the original creators and long-time contributors to Apache Flink. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Technische Universität Berlin.
